Our client, a boutique plaintiff personal injury law firm, seeks a Plaintiff Litigation Paralegal to join their lower Manhattan office. Candidate must have at least 5+ years Personal Injury Litigation experience; Med Mal experience preferred. Available for immediate hire. MUST BE ABLE TO HANDLE A CASE FROM INCEPTION THROUGH TRIAL
Requirements
- 5+ years of plaintiff personal injury paralegal experience; Med Mal experience highly preferred
- Experience opening case files, interviewing clients, setting up doctor appointments, gathering and reviewing medical records, preparing summons and complaints, etc.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail

COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE PARALEGAL - Newark, NJ (On-site)
Our client, a well known national law firm, seeks a highly qualified, experienced mid-level Transactional Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join their Newark, NJ office. The right individual must have at least 8+ years of experience in complex commercial real estate transactions within NJ state.
Requirements and Duties:
- Handle commercial real estate transactions from contract to closing
- Review commercial titles, surveys, zoning and environmental reports.
- Prepare title and survey memos, write title objection letters and respond to same
- Prepare and review purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, closing checklists, and title and survey review summaries with critical date timelines.
- Work closely with title companies, surveyors and third parties to resolve and clear title objections and obtain the final title policies and endorsements.
- Draft and/or review transactional real estate and loan documents, including deeds, transfer tax forms, affidavits of title, UCC-1 financing statements, collateral descriptions and escrow letters.
- Coordinate closing directly with attorneys, clients, lenders, and escrow/title officers.
- Thorough understanding of NJ/NY title and survey, title insurance policies, forms and endorsements, (including ALTA & CLTA endorsements for typical purchase and sale, and loan transactions), NJ bulk sale applications.
